This striking ink drawing from 1920 depicts a typical scene in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, the hometown of Grossberg. On the right, two angular cooling towers rise high, with light-coloured steam rising from them. Next to them are an industrial hall, several houses, and a tall chimney. The cooling towers, which no longer exist today, were originally located at the corner of Kabelstraße and Simonsstraße.
