Mischa Kuball's work 'five suns (eclipse)', 2021, is an artistic-philosophical reflection on the possibilities of human observation and cognition. It refers to Galileo Galilei's experiments in observing sunspots.
Galilei's drawings of sunspots, transferred onto five rotating glass surfaces, constantly change their shape and are inevitably subject to extinction - just like the sunspots themselves.
The light from the projector cannot fully penetrate the Plexiglas panels; the last panel does not allow any light to pass through. Only fragments are visible on the wall, like a last glow.
