Which parts of the multimedia guides are created using artificial intelligence (AI)?
Our guides are designed by museum staff, who select the objects and write the accompanying text. We use the “ElevenLabs” program for the audio version of the texts, which uses artificial intelligence to generate audio tracks via “text to speech”. We attach great importance to the accuracy of the content and correct pronunciation. Despite our best efforts, however, this is not always error-free.
Why do we use AI for our multimedia guides?
The conscientious use of AI in museums offers many possibilities and opportunities, as well as challenges, of course. In our multimedia guides, we see AI as a tool. Without it, we would not be able to offer such comprehensive guides, including an audio track. Our aim is to provide an offering that is as inclusive, accessible and free of charge as possible. We are constantly developing this further.
